…I sat stunned. My baby was taking his first steps..unaided…and enjoying himself of this new-found discovery. This happened two days ago. He was trying it for some time now but 2 days ago, he could actually take a few steps without falling. From yesterday he is able to balance even better. I cannot help but be amazed while watching him. He looks so cute and tiny and looks at me as if he has achieved a great feat.
No, he is not the first child to do this, nor is he the last. But I cannot help feeling proud of his this achievement. This milestone. Soon he would be walking all over the place. He would no longer sit at one place and play. My baby is growing up….and so soon.
